Project Review & Approval
Effective: September 15, 2026
1. Five-Business-Day Review Period
After receiving the first project preview or review version, the client has one 5-business-day period to review the website and respond. This is a review-and-revisions period only, not a refund or cancellation period.
2. Approve Website
If the client is satisfied, the client may approve the website. The project then proceeds to final delivery or launch.
3. Request Revisions
If the client is not ready to approve, the client should provide a clear written list of requested revisions. Amberwood Digital will address corrections and revisions included in the agreed scope. Requesting revisions or receiving a revised preview does not restart or extend the original 5-business-day period. Additional revision rounds beyond those included, new features or substantial changes outside scope may require additional fees.
4. No Response
If the client does not respond, reminders may be sent and the project may be marked Client Unresponsive. Work may be paused until a response is received. Silence does not remove mandatory legal rights.
5. Refund Rule After Custom Website Creation
Once custom work has been performed and a website preview or review version has been created and provided in material accordance with the agreed scope, the client is not entitled to a refund solely because of change of mind, subjective dissatisfaction, design preference, failure to approve, or because the 5-business-day review period is still running. The review period exists so the client can inspect the work and request included revisions.
This does not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law or applicable payment-provider rules.
6. Refund Requests
A client may request a refund, but dissatisfaction or a change of mind does not automatically qualify for one after custom work has begun or been completed. Refund requests are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the agreed scope, applicable law, and applicable payment-provider rules.
